Manage your Nareli subscription, payment methods, invoices, and plan changes through Stripe.

Plans Overview

Nareli offers three plans. The Free plan gives you basic time tracking at no cost — perfect for trying out the app. The Pro plan at $7 per month per seat unlocks unlimited clients, projects, and tasks, along with AI suggestions, Slack integration, and reports. The Business plan at $25 per month per seat adds activity analysis, recurring tasks, goals and streaks, and advanced reports with PDF export. All plans are billed monthly with no long-term commitments.

Pricing is per seat. Each member of your organization who uses the desktop app counts as one seat.

Subscribing via the Website

To subscribe, visit nareli.app/pricing and select the plan that fits your needs. Click the "Start Free Trial" button (or "Get Started" for the Free plan). If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to create an account or sign in. After selecting your plan, you will be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page where you can enter your payment details. Once payment is confirmed, your license is automatically generated and linked to your organization.

Stripe handles all payment processing. Nareli never stores your credit card details directly.

Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We support all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more). When you subscribe, Stripe creates a recurring monthly charge. You will receive email receipts for every payment. Your card information is stored securely by Stripe and is never accessible to the Nareli application servers.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription from your account page at nareli.app/account. From there you can upgrade to a higher plan, downgrade to a lower plan, or cancel your subscription entirely. Plan changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. When upgrading, you gain access to the new features immediately and are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. When downgrading, you keep your current features until the end of the billing period, after which the lower plan takes effect.

Upgrading from Pro to Business is instant. You will see recurring tasks, goals, and activity analysis become available right away.

Billing Portal

Nareli provides a Stripe-powered billing portal where you can update your payment method, view and download past invoices, and manage your billing details. Access the billing portal from nareli.app/account by clicking "Manage Billing". The portal is hosted by Stripe and provides a secure environment for all billing operations. You can add a new card, remove an old one, or switch your default payment method at any time.

What Happens When You Cancel

When you cancel your subscription, you are not charged again. Your current plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. You retain access to all your data (time entries, tasks, clients, projects) but higher-tier features like AI suggestions, Slack integration, reports, recurring tasks, and goals will become locked. Your license key remains the same but its type changes to Free.

Cancellation never deletes your data. Everything you have tracked and created stays on your local machine in the SQLite databases.

Reactivating a Canceled Subscription

If you change your mind after canceling, you can reactivate at any time. Visit nareli.app/pricing, choose your plan, and complete the checkout process. Your existing organization and data remain intact — you simply get a new active subscription linked to the same license. All your previously locked features will become available again immediately after reactivation.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Stripe will automatically retry the charge several times over a few days. During this period, your license status changes to Suspended and some features may be temporarily restricted. You will receive email notifications about the failed payment. To resolve the issue, update your payment method in the billing portal. Once a successful payment goes through, your license is automatically reactivated.
